School Vision

School Vision

Crinkill National School will promote equality and inclusivity amongst teachers, staff and pupils. Discrimination on the grounds of gender, marital status, family status, sexual orientation, religion, age, ability, race or ethnicity will not be tolerated. While Crinkill National School is a school with a Catholic ethos, it also has due recognition for all other religions and none.

We endeavour to make Crinkill National School a place of learning and development, where each child is cherished and encouraged to reach his/her full potential and to provide a well ordered, caring, happy and secure atmosphere where the intellectual, spiritual, physical, moral and cultural needs of the pupils are identified and addressed.

Crinkill National School will encourage the involvement of parents through home/school contacts and through their involvement in the Crinkill National School Parents’ Association. Crinkill National School will endeavour to enhance the self-esteem of everyone in the school community, to instil in the pupils respect for people and property and to encourage in them the idea of being responsible members of society.

Crinkill National School will strive to promote, both individually and collectively, the professional and personal development of teachers through staff development programmes.
